Stabiler Euro is an installation that isolates a one-euro coin from the vibrations of its surroundings. The work starts from the premise that a seemingly stable space is in fact constantly subjected to movement and vibration, caused by people, machinery, traffic, or the building itself. While the surrounding environment remains in constant motion, the coin is kept deliberately stable through a construction of vibration-isolating and vibration-damping materials.
